I drove a friend's Mazda 2 a few weeks ago and really liked it.Well, yesterday I realized that the cost of a new one was basically the same as the value of my old car, and that I could do a straight trade between the two. I lost a bit of horsepower and a GPS system, but what I get is $1000+ of savings in gas yearly, an as of yet unknown saving on insurance, a brand new car with three more years of warranty, and a car that was honestly way more fun to drive than my Civic was. So I went to go check them out today, and somehow ended up coming home with one! After my trade-in, I only had to pay $300, so I'm pretty happy. Had to have the antenna installed so the cable would be out of the way but otherwise it was pretty simple. It fits pretty well in this spot behind the shifter.
