It’s this weekend! I know I’ve been quiet for a while here, expect much more activity in the months to come, with Fanime and AX coming up.

I’m leaving tomorrow, and will be there all five (counting day zero) days.

(Mexican made Fat Strat, '99 or '00-ish, for any guitar geeks who might be reading) I haven't really played it in probably ten years, and it's been at my parents' house since I got it almost 12 years ago. While I was there for xmas I decided to bring it back and try to learn to play again. I didn't realize until I took this pic that the colors totally match Saber! MaxArcher posted a photo: The wobbly center column was killing any chance my Benro C058 tripod had of being stable, so I got some hardware from Home Depot and attached the head directly to the tripod. I used neoprene washers to protect the tripod, and a eye bolt so that I can clip a bag to the tripod with a carabiner for extra stability. MaxArcher posted a photo: There was some interesting light after I got out of class yesterday, and I had the GF2, so I decided to mess around taking some landscapey shots. This is with lens profile corrections in the Lightroom 4 Beta. Look at the uncorrected version to see just how amazing the difference is.
